PETER: Cornerstone of Catholicism By Tim Gray
Our AM Bible Study will learn about Peter: Cornerstone of Catholicism, which offers a fascinating, in-depth study series on the life and meaning of St. Peter. Join Dr. Tim Gray as he takes us on an intensive journey into the life of one of history’s most compelling characters. Bringing together biblical stories, historical knowledge, solid Church teaching, and personal insights, Dr. Gray gives a fresh perspective on the fisherman to whom Jesus entrusted his Church. In these ten stirring lectures, learn what happens when flawed humanity comes up against God made flesh. This study features
TEN sessions with a 45-minute DVD presentation followed by a 30-minute group discussion.
~ NO classes on Oct. 2 (Parish Mission) & Nov. 6 (Election Day). Last class on November 20.
PM Session - 6:00 PM - Father Stack Annex
Galatians: Set Free to Live BY JEFF CAVINS and GAYLE SOMERS
Our PM Bible Study will explore Paul’s letter to the Galatians, which speaks directly to the heart of Christians and addresses the most important question we can ask: “What must we do to be saved?” It speaks of the extraordinary gift of salvation that Jesus has won for us, and how we can unite ourselves to Christ’s redeeming sacrifice.
In the new study by Galatians: Set Free to Live by Jeff Cavins, learn what it means to have this filial relationship with God the Father, how He honors us as His children, and how we must honor Him as our loving Father. This study features EIGHT sessions with a 40-minute DVD presentation followed by a 30-minute group discussion. ~ NO class on Oct. 2 (Parish Mission) & Last class on October 30.
