Youth Group includes ALL Parishes’ Students in Grade 9 thru 12 (entering in the Fall 2018) and 
Students’ friends (any faith) are welcome to come, too.

All High School Students are invited to the St. Ann Youth Group, led by Mary Sielski. Please come be a part of an exciting year of fun, faith-filled, and community service activities with your St. Ann friends. 
Youth group's meetings will take place the 1st SUNDAY of every month at 9:30 am in the Bell Room at St. Ann Church and also participate in retreat days at Servant Song.

The greatest impact on the identity and belief system of a teenager is meaningful conversations with their parents. High School sophomores and juniors, sponsored by either their parish grouping or Catholic high school, are invited to apply for the 2019-2020 Diocesan Youth Council.  The mission and purpose of the DYC is to gather high school youth from throughout the Diocese of Pittsburgh for formation in discipleship, preparation for the apostolate and growth as virtuous, servant leaders culminating with an informed discussion and consultation with the Diocesan bishop and his pastoral staff.  Applications are available at and will be accepted now through May 31, 2019, as space permits.  Please prayerfully consider recommending a youth to apply.  The mandatory DYC Retreat will be held on July 14-16, 2019 at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center.

Faith and Reason ~ Catholic College Summer Program
Sunday, June 9, through Friday, June 14, 2019

Specifically designed for advanced high school and first-year college students, the Faith and Reason Catholic College Summer Program offers participants a unique opportunity to come to a richer, deeper understanding of the Catholic faith.

A Catholic College Summer Program
~ Encouraging a life devoted to wisdom, this catholic summer program features a liberal arts approach to learning. Specifically, participants will:
Explore the relationship between faith and reason,
Examine the perennial questions of humanity,
Develop their communication skills,
Learn how to analyze difficult arguments,
Prepare for college studies, and
Integrate their moral, intellectual and spiritual development

Eligibility & Cost
~ Students must be at least age 15 to participate in the Faith and Reason catholic summer program. The cost of the summer program is $495, which includes room and board.

About the Director of Faith and Reason
Michael KromDr. Michael Krom received his Doctorate in philosophy at Emory University in 2007 and is currently the chair of the philosophy department at Saint Vincent. He has authored a book on religion and politics and continues to publish works in Catholic moral and political thought. Dr. Krom will lead the Faith and Reason Catholic college summer program throughout its duration.
